Weaving for Peace: A Glorious Saori Woven Peace Banner

Terri Bibby is a wonderful woman who has created an incredibly beautiful project. Here she is with the 30 foot long Saori woven Peace Banner that she has been the ‘mother’ of.
She warped her Saori loom with 30 feet of gorgeous yarns. She took her loom to the Vancouver BC Peace conference in June 2006. Terri invited participants at the conference to weave in their hopes and wishes and dreams of peace. Members of the public were invited to participate, as well.
She also invited the people of Salt Spring Island, BC, (where she and her husband, Alan, have a workshop center and B&B) to weave Peace as well.
