Weaving and Spoolknitting come together : A round chair seat cushion

I’ve had a couple of fun comments and thoughts about spoolknitting the baler twine for rugs….

Cyndi commented that Dora Renee was making good use of junk in knitting her rugs from baler twine…….

well……. yes and no…….

after all……. it’s not waste until we waste it :)

and, when I meantioned to Dora Renee that I also make woven round mats, she said that you can just coil and stitch them.

Yep…… but weaving them is really fun, too

I’m sitting on this one right now….

and it’s very comfie……. (it’s about 15 inches in diameter)
and was a pleasure to make.

Ah, the joys of spoolknitting and weaving!
