Vested Interests: Combining inkle woven bands to make a green vest

This is a vest that I wove for my husband, using a combination of cotton, rayon and linen.

I wove a medley of bands on my inkle loom. I noodled them around in different combinations until I was pleased with the layout,  then stitched them together on the sewing machine.

I then went ahead and finished up the stitching together of the vest.

I love weaving and piecing narrow bands, as it allows me to create a complex cloth really easily.
