Update on carved avocado pit doll head
When I mentioned the Thumbelina crochet hook in a recent post, I remembered that I haven’t done an update on the avocado pit that I carved to make a doll head.
When I last posted about it, she was looking like this…

Oops. BIG oops……
I forgot to check where the natural division of the avocado pit was before I started carving….. oh oh….
As the pit dried…..
ahem……….
yup
sigh…. What can I say? Schplit happens.

Such a pretty face. Why couldn’t you attach a metal loop on the back of the one side and use it as a button? It’s a shame to let it go to waste.
