Tutorial: How to weave a placemat on the Lily Speed-o-weave loom: 2
At the upper left hand corner, cut the first color, tie on the second color, and wrap, from upper edge to lower edge. Wrap around each set of pegs twice.
The second color is diagonal to the first color.
The second layer is now complete.
Cut second color. Tie on the third color and wrap each set of pegs twice. The last set of wraps is horizontal.
Cut the third color, tie a knot with the first color.
and the third layer is now complete.
I like to put a big elastic or rubber band over each set of pegs to hold the loops on the pegs. Pain in the neck to have them jumping off, if the loom gets moved or bumped!
