Tulip on Mother’s Day
We’ve had a really late spring, so the flowers are ~just~ squeaking their little noses up now.
Our first tulip has just appeared, and I thought it was lovely that it would pop up on Mother’s Day. I wanted to click a pic of it.
Oh yes. In our house, that is never as simple as it might seem. Our furkids have insatiable curiosity about what their Mum is doing….
So, when I point the camera at a tulip-

is what fills the viewfinder
Actually, the last picture was supposed to be what I saw in the viewfinder, which was the rather impressive view of the nose of the greyhound with his eyes crossed as he tried to see inside the camera. But the horse came to the fence and distracted him….
just long enough for me to ~finally~ get a couple of shots of the tulip!
Which is great, because I want to use the pics of the tulip in some designs that I am working on……
But, first - gotta finish the kilts for the wedding this weekend!
