Treasures from Mum’s house:The Living Treasures
Today, I was thinking about the treasures that are coming to us from Mum’s house.
Of course, the greatest treasure that has ever come to me, from anywhere, is my Beloved! :D
And, now, we have another ‘living treasure’: Mum’s furchild:
Also known as: The Queen of Everything. (She is very fond of sleeping on my yarn stash and doesn’t approve of me using any of it. ahem. That one has to be open to negotiation!)
I swear, I must have been tempting fate. I was just about to write that her transition into our home has calmed down.
Well, I just had to peel myself off the ceiling, as Madame Resident Cat just unsuspectingly walked around the corner and discovered that The Queen of Everything was ~not amused~!
HolyHonkinHaleleuiah!~ they didn’t wound each other, but it sounded like an explosion in a saxaphone factory!

No pictures of cats causing mayhem? I have five myself and have lots of amusing and silly stories about cats in the middle of everything! My oldest is Isis, a siamese mix who is the Empress of any yarn I forget to pack up, or all clean clothes that need that special touch of cat fur to spruce it up!

It’s not just the cats that create mayhem, Carole! We have a small dog who is more of a yarn fiend than any cat!
