I love PBS.

Last week, during pledge drive, one of the PBS’s that we get had a special show about a Polish dance troupe.

I was awestruck by the gorgeous needlework and lace on the costumes. I watched it twice, and squealed in delight at the costumes. Some of the dancers looked like spinning dolls at some points.

Did it influence me?

Of course…..

I have been making “Polish Princess” Cordelia’s ever since!

We just finished upholstering the sofa, so I am wiped (crumbs! that was hard work! and we discovered a mistake after we plopped ourselves down upon it. Too bad. We’ll just let it keep us humble) :D

…. will post pics of the sofa, and the other little old chair that I re-upholstered this week, too….

I’ve also been weaving up a storm all week on Clancy’s wedding vest, so that’s coming along….. more on that, later….

But for now……… toodles. I am off to dream of dancing Polish Princesses………..
