Fold the bodice in 1/2 and stitch the edge to the top of one sleeve

and then, stitch the top of the 2nd sleeve to the edge of the bodice.

Slip the bodice onto Merrie Sunshine, then, put the skirt on her. Pull up on the gathering yarn strand to fit her waist. Tie a knot to secure.

Cross one front section over the other, and stitch the skirt to the bodice. Be sure to stitch through both layers of the front. Also, it’s a good idea to make sure that you stitch over the gathering strand at the waist of the skirt.
Optional: Stitch a heart shaped button to the front of the bodice.
Voila! Merrie Sunshine has a new dress! Courtesy of Spoolie!

As I was doing the photoshopping and editing, I got all inspired, and designed another whole new series of totally different wooden paper dolls…. so now……… I have to get pictures taken of them!
Ah, so much inspiration…….
