Spool knitted Rat Bookmark -2

In my last posting, I showed how I shaped the spool knitting to make the spool knitted rat bookmark.

Here’s how I made the head of the rat.

(I can’t believe I just wrote that! LOL!)

Thread the yarn end into a darning needle, fold back the last 10 stitches, and stitch through the cord.

Make the neck by wrapping around the cord and stitching in place to secure it.

The ears are 2 loop stitches.

Take one strand of yarn through a fine needle, and stitch two red beads for eyes. Stitch into wraps at neck to anchor.
