Potholder Loom Weaving: More 2 color weaving on the potholder loom and how to turn a ‘regular yarn’ into ‘designer’ yarn
To add a more ‘designer’ touch to a ‘regular’ yarn, combine it with sewing machine thread, sock yarn, crochet cotton, fuzzy nylon serging thread, even torn fabric strips. You can see the difference in the pictures below.
Here’s how to weave a ‘3/3′ checkerboard fabric:

To weave the 3/3 checked fabric, take one color around 3 sets of pegs, then the 2nd color around the next 3 sets of pegs. Repeat across.Weaving:

Weave 3 passes with one color, then 3 with the other, repeating until all 18 sets of pegs are full.

Chain it off, and you have a 3/3 check square!
A little easier to see, when done in 2 strands of the yarn, rather than 1 strand yarn and multiple strands of crochet cotton, thread etc:

Happy Weaving!
and please remember: YES! Share the url to my blog,
BUT! NO! don’t copy pictures or text- it’s such a lot of work to do this, and it’s just not fair to ‘lift’ it.
thanks a million!
