‘No skill required’ for the Lily Speed-o-weave loom

I have 2 vintage Lily Speed-o-weave looms that I am quite fond of.  One of the instruction booklets from the older loom (30’s or 40’s ?) states:

“No skill required”.   And then, it goes on to show a totally impossible warping system. Both Jim and I were almost standing on our heads, trying to figure it out.

No skill required, indeed!

Bah humbug! Humph.

It’s even more baffling than the ‘how to’ booklets (that are written in Swahili, translated into Latvian and backwards into English through Chinese) for the vcr.

I am taking the ‘no skill’ required thing personally, and I have got to figure this bizarre warping business out.

No skill required. Fiddlesticks!

:P to the Silly Sot who wrote that.

g’night from a grump
