My Peace Doll Necklace
In the blog entries that follow this one, you’ll see images of the Peace Doll Necklace that I made from some reclaimed brass.

I had the intuition that I needed to make myself a Peace Doll that was a necklace, and that had an Earth bead for the head.
The image came up for me in a meditation, and it felt really compelling. I just HAD to make this Peace Doll! Wearing her is very comforting. As I reach out to her, and clasp her in my hand, I feel a sense of ‘yes-ness’ about saying to people:
‘We CAN do something about the state of our planet!’.
I don’t know ~how~ we’re going to do it, but I keep holding on, envisioning a change for the better……..
Peace.
Yes.
Peace.
Yes………

hugs and blessings,
and holding the image of change………

Lovely necklace! I think our only hope of world peace is to put women in charge. The world needs a feminine healing hand to heal.

Thank you, Linda…….
Actually, m’dear,
I think that the only hope of world peace is for all of us, men, and women alike, to change our minds about the way things are going to go.
I agree about the feminine principle being essential, and that gentleness and lovingkindness is completely the key. But, think about men like the Dalai Lamma, or Nelson Mandela……
Kindness is the place to start, and I think that forgiveness is the key………

Thank you so much, Brenda! I am finding it to be very comforting to wear. As I listen to all the ways that people are NOT making peace on the planet, it helps me to remember that other people ARE working towards Peace. It reminds me to live in hope.
blessings and hugs
