Most favorite crochet stitch- Lover’s knot

My most favorite crochet stitch is the Lover’s knot (also known as Solomon’s Knot and a few other names).

It is a stitch beyond compare, as far as I am concerned.

I am constantly finding new ways of using it.

In fact, I could write a whole book about the glories of this stitch!

The picture shows a new piece that I am working on, using handspun Shetland yarn that I have made from a fleece a friend gave me last year.

I am going to be teaching at the Knit and Crochet show in Portland in September, and am working on lots of new and wonderful pieces for it.

And, of course, most of them include the Lover’s Knot.

I’ll post pictures closer to the show…..

I don’t know what classes I will be teaching in Portland, but I certainly am looking forward to it. There are all kinds of neat things being planned around and for the conference.
