May Wedding: What I wore

I talked about the crocheted, spoolknitted and woven wrap  (AKA: The Mahvelous Mystery Mother of the Groom Thingie)  that I was working on for our son’s wedding.

Unfortunately, because my beloved mother-in-law spiralled down and needed our constant attention, I was unable to get the shawl/wrap done.

So, I went with Plan B and wore a crocheted and woven jacket that I designed and made a few years ago. It’s wonderfully comfortable, but wasn’t quite warm enough. The weather turned beastly wet, cold and rainy, so the conservatory where the wedding was held was REALLY cold! brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I’ll get the wrap done- but not this week!
