Hankering for Yarn

Knitting bags-5

by Noreen on January 8th, 2008

I got a coat of white paint onto the frame of the new knitting bag last night before bed,

and 2 more coats today….

Still need to sand it, then I want to do some drawing on it.

Will have to varnish it after that.

And then! oh my…. figuring out how to make the bag part.

I am going to end up doing some hand stitching, as I should have made the bag first and put the frame together through channels in the bag.

Ooops.

I’ll get the next  one right…….

I’m going to have to see if any of the sisters and daughters in the family want one of these…..

    Hi Noreen
I love the knitting bag….in my case it should say crochet bag. (Don’t know how to knit yet)
    Well anyway, I’m impressed…really impressed.
PS: Lovin the fish plate, it holds perfect crackers and cheese for two’s snuggley snack.
    PPS: Love Ya!

So glad you like the knitting, no, crocheting, no, small loom weaving, no, spool knitting well…
    everything bag, Seanna!
It’s been a treat to make it. I love figuring out the way things work, so I have had just too much fun with it!
    hugs

    Well….you did say daughters……LOL
Or better yet, plan a free weekend where we can build one together at Chez Vous.

What a fun idea! and, yep, I did indeed say ‘daughters’, which includes daughter by birth and daughters by love and marriage! LOL!

Jim’s ‘eegadding’ it out in the workshop…. I made the first one, and he didn’t realize that it was such a monkey puzzle to build! ROTFLOL!

We’re working on ‘breaking the code’ on making these tricky beggars!
