Handbound handmade Books, Notebooks, Journals or Scrapbooks
Over the last few weeks, I have designed and made a heap of handmade, handbound notebooks, books, journals or scrapbooks. They are a fun way to reclaim, re-use and recycle paper that has already been used on one side.
I was asked to put together all the links for the entries about the handmade, handbound earth friendly books.
Here goes:
It all began with:
The first posting: How to make a book
2: A note about the ends of the binding cords:
The beads and charms on the cord
#3: A closer look at how you do the actual binding: binding
4: you can make different sizes of handmade books: Sizes
5: The previous books went smaller, this one is larger, and has a crocheted flat wire doll on it: Wire doll
6: another large book with a flat doll crocheted from handspun tissue paper: Tissue flat doll
7: Another larger sized book with a freeform flat crocheted doll: Dancing Alligator
8: A handspun, handwoven book: Handspun book
9: A book I made a long time ago: Querencia
10: The first crocheted book: Crochet book
11: And the instructions on how to make the Hairpin Lace loom Doll
12: The Second Crocheted Book:
13: The first knitted book: Knitted on needles
14: The second knitted book: Knitted on a round loom
And there you have it, an armload of handmade, handbound one of a kind notebooks, books or journals……… I could keep going with these forever, but I have something else that I am working on that I am looking forward to sharing.
hugs all round,
Noreen
