Frivolous
Last week, I was feeling really sad about the death of our dear old dog. Things felt mighty flat. I thought that I would use some yarn that I had spun from his fur, and spoolknit some little doggie angels. It’s too soon………
So, I decided to take a little break from meeting deadlines, and just be frivolous.
I whipped out my spoolknitter, a wooden “Lolly Pop doll” and some glittery yarn, and a few charms. I had seen a pic of Nicole Kidman wearing a gold dress that looked like it was made on a spoolknitter, it was so sleek and ‘minimal’ :D
I thought: Oh, I can do that!
and so I did:
Silly? yep.
Did I feel better afterwards? yep.
Feeling blue? grab your yarn, your spoolie, your hook or your needles, and have a few minutes of innocent fun!

Hy Noreen, It’s late for me but i cannot sleep 12:05 p.m. I adored your Golden Girl Lolly Pop Doll…Have had the G.I. Flu and now have the Cold and Cough and have not felt like doing any thing so here i am reading your Musings..God Love you Your Knobby Friend Laurie

Oh, Laurie! I am so sorry to hear that you are sick! I hope that you will soon be well and blooming! Get out your spoolie and spool away your greeblies!
