Eco bracelets-3

I’ve been having a wonderful time reclaiming and re-using and recycling old bits of wood from a broken loom and a broken desk.

I made bag handles from the disintegrated desk:

and ‘eco’ bracelets from the schmooshed loom:

And here’s how the open sided bracelet evolved:

I cut it out from the lower part of the little keel loom:

and then I started sanding and shaping:

Sand sand sand, file file file

and a little more sanding…..

Voila! Up popped the rabbit!

And then I burned a few hearts and flowers on the eco bunny bracelet:

It’s light, and comfortable, and fun:

And I love it! What a fun way to celebrate Earth Day.
