Crazy Aunt Purl - HFY Award Winning Blog
I love blogs that I go to visit and end up staying forever because I can’t drag myself away. I don’t really have time for that sort of thing, so it is a double-edged sword: It takes up time I don’t have to give but it is so good that I do anyway.
We all find time to do the things we really want to do.
At any rate, that kind of journeying around the Internet today led me to “Crazy Aunt Purl,” who calls herself an “obsessive-compulsive knitter with four cats.” Like, I could NOT visit this person? No way. I beelined the blog. And an hour later, I came up for air and decided this site is an award winner.
Laurie, Crazy Aunt Purl’s real name, is quite a writer. She has a posting up right now that talks about her “real life,” as vs. her “fear life.” It really isn’t a knitting post, but it is wonderful and I hope you will read it. We all talk about honesty - Laurie wrote with honesty in this post.
I just sent Laurie her award. She is only the third one to receive an award from HFY - and she certainly deserves it. It is a great blog about knitting, about cats, about life, and has something for everyone.
