Embellished Crochet book

My copy of Embellished Crochet (edited by Cari Clement) arrived today!

I have 6 designs in the book. Now that it’s out, I can make myself the Opera shrug on page 132. It’s really comfortable and very wearable.
I don’t get the projects back once I ship them off to the publisher, so if […]

Woohoo!

Embellished Crochet is  out- yay!
I haven’t received my copy yet, but I went to Amazon.com to take a peek at it, and am tickled pink to see that 2 of my designs are on the front cover  (the beaded scarf and the beaded bracelets) and 2 more are on the back cover (the bag with […]

Butterfly Bag Crochet along-20- lining and stabilizing

It’s my design for a celebration of mothers, so it works great as a mother’s day present!
The center of the bag says:

Very large crochet hooks: A shawl crocheted with the Gulliver Hook

I was curious to see if the humoungous Gulliver hook was going to be worthwhile …..
so I crocheted a VERY thick and quick shawl with unspun roving held together with a strand of yarn.
Is it ever warm!

I am going to make one with strands of yarn held together, to see how that goes.
I’m also working […]

Tammy posted about some cellphone charm dolls that she had made and it made me go - DING!

Many moons ago, I designed a beaded doll to embellish a crocheted freeform bag. It’s […]
