Adopting a rescued baby horse-5
Jim spent the entire day, working on getting the fences baby proofed for the new baby horse. Our two old horses were perfectly content with the fences being ‘lax’.
But, bring a new baby into the family, and she’s going to test the boundaries!
So:
Farmer Jim fixing fences.
Finally! After a full day of hard labour, we were able to turn the little munchkin out, and allow Starbuck and Red to hang out together. WELL!
What a pair of bliss bunnies! It’s like they are velcro-ed together.
This pic doesn’t give the full impact of her tininess next to his big old Morgan sturdiness. They are so happy.
And we are, too… but boy, are we exhausted!
And, that’s the story of the whirlwind adoption - so far!
:D amazing. just amazing.
Oh, by the way: Happy Father’s Day!
hugs all round,
Noreen

I highly recommend that people consider going through a reputable equine rescue organization if they are considering adopting a horse into their family.
