Hankering For Yarn is all about the love of yarn and yarn based arts and crafts - Spinning, weaving, crochet, spool knitting, knitting, tatting, embroidering, doll making, puppet making - if you can create it with yarn, then it’s at home on Hankeringforyarn!
Noreen Crone-Findlay is passionate about the fiber arts!
She’s ‘the Empress of the Spool knitter’, and is: An author, designer, fiber artist, professional puppeteer, doll maker, workshop presenter, crocheter, small loom weaver and storyteller.
Noreen and her husband, Jim Findlay (wood turner, jazz musician,composer and farmer) have built a successful business as designers and makers of one of a kind, ‘art’ spool knitters, crochet hooks and small looms.
Noreen is also ~the~ source for enchanting designs for spool knitted creations of all descriptions.
Noreen has written a heap of books, and is currently working hard on more. Her designs have been published in all kinds of books, magazines and leaflets.
