A Teeny Tiny Chair for some new wooden dolls: Help! what color should I paint it!?
When I was working on the tutorial for spoolknitting the dress for the Merrie Sunshine dolls
(click on spoolknitted doll dress)
I got all inspired and I ended up designing a whole heap of wonderful new wooden dolls.
They’re like paper dolls- but they’re wooden.
And, they don’t have arms or legs.
DON’T GO EEEEEEEEEUUUUUUUU!

They aren’t the victims of some unfortunate karmic drama!
NO! they are an invitation to creativity!
I make the doll and then people go spoolielooping and have a wonderful time, making arms, legs, fashion statements etc
with them!

You can see a whole bunch of them by clicking on
By the way, the Merrie Sunshine spoolknitted dress fits the Lolly Pop dolls poifeckly!

I decided that I needed to make them a special chair.
I’ve had this ice cream parlour chair forever. I love it.
The seat cushion is one that I spoolknitted, then wove.
Very comfie.
I decided that I just had to make a chair for the Lolly Pop dolls…. So, I got out the wire and went out to the workshop and had a little rummage in the ‘nyet’ box, and found a small offcut circle. Poifeck for the seat!
With a little drilling, twisting and twirling…..
Voila!

A leetle ice cream parlour chair for the Lolly Pop Dolls!
The only problem is… I don’t know what color to paint it!
Jim thinks red….
our daughter suggested bright pastels…..
I haven’t a clue…. Black? Blue? Green?
Help! What color(s) should I paint the teeny chair?
big hugs
Noreen
