A new weaver in the family
Our daughter is marrying a wonderful man. This is extending our family in the most delightful way. We are gaining all manner of relatives!
The other afternoon, we had a lovely visit with DD’s fiance’s sister, husband and their son.
My new nephew is a sweet youngster who completely stole my heart!
When I told him that I was weaving the vest for his uncle to wear to the wedding, he wanted to have a try weaving.
He took to it like a duck to water!

He is now waiting anxiously for ~his~ very own loom to arrive! I think that he is going to love having a Harrisville backstrap loom. (no affiliations on my part, I just think it’ll be a good fit for him: It’s very portable, has lots of design potential, is good for a person with vision challenges, comes already warped, has excellent instructions, is very affordable, and is just plain fun!)
I look forward to hearing about his adventures in weaving, and to seeing the fabulous things that he weaves!
What a treasure he is! I am feeling blessed to have our family expand in such a wonderful way.
hugs all round,
Noreen

Such lovely things to say, i’ve got warm fuzzy’s all over. Our feelings are mutual. And doesn’t he look handsome. (Mom sentiments) can’t help it.
Another weaver is born.
