A lovely little treat: New Crochet Hooks
As a designer, I have to be able to work up my swatches and designs ‘on over drive’. So, it’s important that I have crochet hooks that are ‘really fast’.
I don’t know if I have switched something in my technique over the years, but lately, I have been finding that the fastest smoothest hooks for me are the Susan Bates Silvalumes.
No affiliations and I don’t profit by saying so.
You know, all the usual disclaimers and all that.
I discovered my pleasure in working with them by buying one at a conference, and now, pardon the pun, I am hooked on them.
I needed a little treat the other day, so I whipped into Michaels (again, no affiliations, I just had the 40% off coupon) and bought myself a yummy set of hooks. I had actually only intended to buy a size ‘K’ (6.5 mm) but was delighted to find the set.
And, I haven’t put them down since. They are a treat to use.
Ah, the pleasures of a new crochet hook - or 6.
