My dear friend, Terri Bibby, just returned home from a weaving tour of Japan. She took a Saori peace banner to the celebration at Hiroshima…..
Here’s the link: Peace in Hiroshima
Very moving!
Let’s all weave a little piece of peace today……….

Oh my word, I can’t believe how much work this bag has been! But, worth it! I just love it.
I decided that it needed a handle, so, I took 60 inches of 1/4 inch diameter acquarium clear plastic tubing, and stitched buttons on the ends.

Anyhow………. I got all ‘buttonie’ and had a wonderful time stitching a ton of buttons onto […]

We adopted a baby horse from a wonderful rescue organization: Wild Rose Rescue
This is Nanci, the ‘Rescue Mum’, with her rescued Boxers:
My dear friend, Judy Wood, who is a horse woman, Boxer afficianado and artist extraordinaire, said: If Nanci is into Boxer and horse rescue, then you know she’s sound!
:D
Nanci was the one who intuited […]

My daughter was teasing me, as she watched me stitch about 359 buttons to the Butterfly Bag.
‘A touch of O.C.D., Mum?’, she laughed as I obsessively, compulsively stitched little shell buttons to the Butterfly bag…
What can I say? :D
I like buttons……. we all have our addictions.
As long as I […]

I love small loom weaving, and have designed for them for many years.
Over the last year, I have been working on designing and developing a new little loom that we call the ‘Wishing Window Loom’. It’s a little peg loom that also includes a built in cordmaker.
I designed it specifically for making […]
