In the summer of 2007, I taught a workshop on making Angels for Peace.
Noreen’s Workshops
I think a lot about how we make peace.
Peace is made in a million, billion different ways, every day, one little piece of peace at a time. Making an Anges of Peace doll is a metaphor that reminds […]

In my last posting
I shared some pics of recent spoolies that we have just made for people.
After this endless winter that we have just sludged through, I am longing for flowers! And, I was so pleased when a lady sent me a note, saying: I want a spoolie with flowers - many flowers!
Yes! Here it […]

Jim and I have been making some really fun spoolies recently.
An email buddy from the Freeform Crochet list asked us to do a trio of Spoolies. He wanted Green Man imagery on Mighty Mamma’s and Dancing Duchesses, but we had to re-name them to reflect their more ‘manly’ nature! :D
Their new name? ‘Les Hommes Fantastique’. […]

We have had ~one week~ of springtime.

and then………
The goose was wondering where the stream went……
sigh.
:(
Ah, well. It was an excellent day to contemplate the wonderful responses to my question in my last posting…
I was really moved by the very […]

Designing and making the Red Hat Spoolknitters
and then the Spoolknitted Red Hats naturally got the wheels turning for me…
If there is a Red Hat, shouldn’t there be a perfect little doll to wear it? And wouldn’t that perfect doll be a Menopause Fairy?
Part of the designing process is to get it ~close~ but not […]

My best friend’s Mom is a total sweetheart. She’s very active with the Red Hat Society. To celebrate this, my best friend had given her a ‘Small Wonders’ spoolknitter
that I had made. It had a red hat on it….. and since she enjoys it so much, she decided that she should give 6 of […]
